If you're a breastfeeding mama looking for a pump or to catch your letdown, Haakaa's Breast pump is a great item to include in your nursing journey!

It is a one-piece design with no cracks or edges for bacteria to harbour, made of 100% food-grade silicone - eco-friendly, safe and easy to clean. A compact pump that features a suction base that sticks to flat surfaces, preventing any accidental spills (or newborn kicks) and a silicone cap to store your milk away safely and securely. Simply suction your breast and let the pump draw your milk out. Perfect for use when going out and to express discreetly, silently and quickly.

Tips: While your child is feeding, attach your Haakaa pump to the other breast to catch precious milk that would otherwise be lost in a nursing pad.

How to Use Your Haakaa Breast Pump:

  1. Sterilise your pump by boiling in water for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Place the pump flange over your nipple – make sure your nipple is centred comfortably in the neck of the pump.
  3. Apply suction – you may need to adjust the position of your pump a couple of times. Once the pump is secure and comfortable, apply suction by squeezing the base of the pump to start the flow of milk.
  4. Once milk begins to flow, simply leave the pump alone to do its thing!
  5. When the pump is full, empty into a safe storage container and reposition.
  6. If the flow of milk slows or you've expressed your desired amount, simply stick the suction base to a flat surface while you finish your feeding or redress.

Please note: Always consult with a medical professional or lactation consultant prior to pumping as every woman and their nursing journey is unique. The guidelines of health organisations should be followed at all times with regards to catching let-down/expressing and storing milk safely.
